The cable that usually comes with your car. It plugs into a standard power point and charges at around 2.4 kW, so a full charge can take a day or more. Fine as a backup, but slow for everyday use.
Wall chargers
The best option for home. Hardwired into your switchboard and mounted in your garage or carport. Single-phase chargers charge at up to 7 kW, and three-phase chargers up to 22 kW (if your car supports it). Most cars can fully charge overnight.
DC fast chargers
Found at public charging stations. They can take most EVs from 20% to 80% in around 20 to 40 minutes.
